Since my divorce from my husband of 11 years, I have wondered if those free online dating sites on the Internet were any good. I have heard people talk about them and have both good and bad things to say about them. I'm sure everyone who tries them have both good experiences and some bad. I'm sure there are people that have been on these free online dating sites for years and still don't have any luck. I feel sorry for some of those people. Some are really nice people, but just can't seem to have a good experience with them. Some girls want a boyfriend so bad that they jump at any guy who will answer her profile. And vice versa with the guys. Some people get on these free online dating sites just to be mean and scam people. I think that is horrible for anyone to do that. It's dishones and it can really cause someone to end up with hurt feelings.

Say two people meet on a free online dating site and end up as a couple. Well, I think that is wonderful. My idol is aperson who tells the truth about themselves and don't play drama games with the people who get on these sites to find a potential mate. It's cruel to play with other people's emotions and to string them along just to see how far they can take it. Even though that is bad, there are people out there right now that do that and the sad thing about it is, they actually enjoy it. Hurting people they don't even know.

I often wonder why people like doing that. To get pleasure out of other people's pain. I know so many people who like to do this, it's sort of scary. I think it's just because someone hurt them so they feel like they have to get revenge somehow. Or maybe it's a power trip, they feel better about themselves when they make someone else feel bad. It happens all the time. And now I know what to look for, it seems like I can steer myself away from these kind of people before I get involved with them.

I don't usually give out my phone number unless I get to know them a litter over the internet first. And then sometimes I only give out a cell phone number of one of my cell phones I don't uaually use.
