My name is Sam and I just recently moved to San Diego. Known as the finest city in the world San Diego also offers a very active social life for single people. I am really looking forward to meeting some really great people and maybe even a nice guy to go out with. I live in a very nice part of town with some new friends and they are really urging me to start going out with them. I am a bit scared of getting hurt again after what happened to me at home.

Back home in Kentucky I tried one of the free online dating sites only to have it blow up in my face. I met an adorable guy who I dated for 6 months until one day he told me we wasin love withmy best friend. I was very hurt to think that I had been falling in love with him but he did not find me lovable at all. Instead he fell in love with my friend who is and has always been a very shallow person. Still, I was able to hold in my pain and a few weeks later I left.

This timeI am not going to date anyone seriously. I just want a guy that will hang out with me and hold my hand while we walk on the beach. Someone that I can go to a movie with and maybe grab some dinner with. I hope I can find an adorable, lovable guy that won't be looking for a big commitment. I see now that the last time I let my emotions get away from me too fast.

Tonight we are going out and I am excited and nervous. I hope guys here will find me attractive and adorable. I know California has the best looking people in the world so I hope I can compete. I think they will be able to see that I am super down to earth and lovable. If all goes well I think it will help me heal from some of that pain that I have had to hold in my heart all this time.
